Event Description:
Learn about the breeds of horses, horse care, horse anatomy, styles of riding, and equipment used. Wendy has over 25 years experience training and showing all breeds of horses. Through Jericho Creek Farm II, she has been raising quality Morabs, Morgans, and Arabians. She also teaches English and Western riding lessons. Wendy is a certified Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) instructor. Through Horse Power Healing Center, a PATH member, Wendy teaches therapeutic lessons for children and adults with special needs. This is the first program in the “Year of the Horse” series co-sponsored by the Alice Baker Library, Jericho Creek Farms, and Kettle Moraine Equine Hospital. All ages are welcome to this program.
