Event Description:
Living With and Loving Those Who Struggle with Mental Health
Support Your Loved One by Caring for Yourself
Living with a mental condition can be very difficult; living with a person with a mental health  condition is also very challenging.  Whether diagnosed, in treatment or just exhibiting signs and  symptoms, family and friends often want to help their loved one but encounter challenges which make them feel incapable or overwhelmed.  Many lack information about  mental health conditions and struggle to understand what their loved one experiences.  Often, individuals feel helpless or fearful that they will say or do the "wrong" thing.  Most would benefit from education, proper boundaries and a better understanding of how to care for themselves in order to better care for others.
