Event Description:
Celebrate Black History Month and create your own seedling using sculptured wire and green paper! This is an intergenerational art program for ages 9 years old and above based on a book, Seeds of Change. The book is a biography of Kenyan environmentalist Wangari Maathai -- a female scientist who made an effort to restore Kenya's ecosystem by planting millions of trees. 20 person limit. Pre-registration is required. Sponsored by the Alice Baker Library in Eagle.
