This July, the Town of Mukwonago and area Residents are Invited to Discover Everything the Town of Mukwonago Park & Rec Dept Has to Offer
Summer is here, which means it’s time to get out and discover the great things happening at your local parks and recreation centers. This July, we challenge you to explore the “undiscovered” roles of local parks and recreation with the Town of Mukwonago Parks & Recreation Department as they celebrate Park and Recreation Month, A Lifetime of Discovery. A Lifetime of Discovery Park & Rec Challenge of fun activities has been planned for area residents of all ages and abilities — to participate in during the month of July.
The Town of Mukwonago Parks & Recreation Department is celebrating Park and Recreation Month, an initiative of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), by inviting you to explore A Lifetime of Discovery at your local parks and rec. During Park and Recreation Month, explore everything your local parks and recreation or community has to offer! Playgrounds, rec centers, sports leagues, summer camps are just a few of the things that come to mind when we think of parks and rec. But, parks and recreation are so much more than that!
The Town of Mukwonago Parks & Recreation Department will celebrate Park and Recreation Month through a Park & Rec Challenge to participate in all month long. Stop in our office or go to our website between June 25-29 for your Challenge tracking sheet to complete during the month of July. This will be on an honor system, we know you will hold yourself accountable to play along. A number of activities are listed for you to complete by the end of the month. If you complete a minimum of ten activities, you are eligible to have your activity sheet put in a drawing for a prize! The goal is to get you out and about discovering and being innovative in spending time outside, time with family, and involved in healthy activities this summer!

July 1 – 31 Get out and discover activities on the chart and take pictures
Aug 1 – 5 Drop off your completed activity chart in our office or outside our office building in the outside drop box no later than August 3, 2018
DRAWING WILL BE ON MONDAY, AUGUST 6
THE WINNER WILL BE NOTIFIED TO STOP IN FOR THEIR PRIZE
